This pine tree no longer exists. It was my favourite big HUGE pine tree, so regal and proud.
I took photos of it and he will live on. This is a digital image of the tree on a winter's day a couple of years ago. It is forever gone and I have never seen a tree as beautiful.
My art is available here through Fine Art America and divisions of their company. Watermark does not appear on your purchased art. Thank you.

Oh so sorry you lost that Hickory tree!!! I know... I know... I was lucky to see this tree every day and you had "your" tree - so this is a way to share and keep it alive - so happy you like it and you can feel the sadness but also the strength of that tree - the power - it always made me feel so happy when I saw it ;)

Your sadness comes through so strongly, Claire, and I understand. We lost a venerable, old hickory that was around 300 years of age and we cried. However - this is so incredibly lovely I have to believe he is pleased. You've also made it possible for us to know him and love him:>) Vote and Fave!!!
