Description
This impressionist painting has the beautiful bright poppies with the sun filtering through the meadow grasses. Some of them are drooping and some are loving the sunshine and basking in the warmth.
A colorful painting that will brighten any area or wall. It remains one of my favourites and I still remember painting it. The happiness and freedom I felt that week was wonderful. I think it shows in the painting. I can't remember why I was so happy but I do remember painting it and feeling that way. Each time I look at this image, I remember the feeling of the brush and the positive emotion.
Sometimes it is just the songs playing as I paint. But sometimes it is something inside that rises up and paints itself. That happened. I love when that happens.
