A magical wizard creating a secret spell with glowing light and color surrounding him in a 3D mixed media 15x30 acrylic painting on canvas.
Acrylic paint and texture with a bit of a necklace piece for the eyes on the creature.
I wanted to paint something unique and I love fairy tales and fantasy... this is mixed media and lots of layers, made from my imagination.

Thank you Jean, This was a fun one for me - I painted it from my imagination and then a few weeks later, I saw one of my cross stitch pieces framed on the wall and realized how similar it is to that !!! I guess all those tiny little "x" stitches were in my head and this wizard came alive - lots of great texture - yes, I used pieces of a necklace and bits of fabric and all kinds of mediums to make him 3D - glad you like it !!! Thanks!
