Painting - Acrylic On Wood
Description
The smaller boat is tied to the dock but the sun is setting and a night storm is upon us as we watch the yacht try to navigate the rocky shoreline to safety.
Acrylic on 11 x 14 wood panel, signed varnished and ready to hang.
The original painting has texture but this image has more texture added digitally so it will show a pattern when enlarged as a print.
My art is available here through Fine Art America and divisions of their company. Watermark does not appear on your purchased art. Thank you.

It does indeed have a sense of being uneasy, yet the lovely blues and greens soften the boisterous red. It's one of those pictures you can sit and study and keep finding something else to love.

What a great comment Carol - thank you - hope you are having lots of creativity today

Hurray, Claire! You've gone and done it again - created another magnificent work of art:>). Your colors are AWESOME, and I love how you've worked in the storm and the boats. V/F

Hurray Carol!!! For saying that and making me feel like it was a great day... I think this the way I was feeling that day... safe ashore when all around me was a storm and worrying about things - I think it feels unsettled and yet calming - do you think so? Thanks for the V/F ;))
