The magic of the woods along the shoreline with pine trees in various stages of growth and decay, bending branches and broken limbs.
The wind whispering through the boughs and the busy creatures on the forest floor. Moss and old logs, soft pine needles and granite rocks.
The sound of the water lapping on the shore and frogs croaking with the occasional splash of a fish or glimpse of a turtle slipping out of sight.
The light bounces off the trees and swirls and reflects.
Feel the peace.
This is from my acrylic painting of what I remember on my walks with my dog. It is digitally enhanced to allow me to offer it at a larger size and on these items.
I called it Remember Me because I remember and the forest remembers me and my dog.
I will never forget those moments. I will paint what I remember. So you can feel it too.
