This is the lower half of a figure walking through the rain with Red Rubber Boots. Those big red boots we all loved or wanted and you could go puddle jumping and splashing.
I painted a 6x6 wood panel with this lower half and another panel with the upper half and matching Red Umbrella.
This is a digital painting of my original acrylic painting
View in close up view to see all the detail and texture of this and the matching Red Umbrella piece is made to coordinate with this one. ;) Enjoy the rain!!

Mother Nature
F/L AWESOME! Red boots were (are) the cat's meow:>) You chose well to make it part of a pair; the umbrella is the perfect mate for this. If I were designing the lobby of a children's wing of a hospital, I would put these two up front and center. Unlike some rainy days, these would lift everyone's spirits and make them smile:>)
Claire Bull replied:
Oh YES!!!! Perfect - Hurry up and Design the Children's Wing... wouldn't that be fun - I think it is "happy" I agree it would make them smile - rain and puddles are actually fun once in a while - remember? (I didn't like the worms though) - and I always wanted a pair of red rubber boots. So now I guess I have them. Made them myself. ha. Thanks Carol !!
