Hello Claire, I've just looked at your very impressive gallery, just love these chickens. ever since our trip to Key West, where the chickens roam free, I've wanted to paint some. This inspires me.

Thank you Sharon - I have another one that is larger... maybe I should do a series - I love their expressions and I think you should paint some - they are fun little birds and full of character and really unique looking - I think they all have personalities too... am trying to capture that - look forward to seeing YOUR chickens!!! Thanks Lois - aren't they fun girls? I think chickens are bright and happy and fun... had to do this one - my sister has chickens and we had Thanksgiving there outside eating turkey and chickens walking around - it was hilarious - this is supposed to be fun - ;)

Thank you Holly - My sister has three chickens... and we used to go to the farm every weekend and play in the henhouse (against the rules) but this made me smile too - thank you!!
