Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
Chinese Lanterns used to grow at the farm. I remember the dried bell shaped orange lanterns in big containers with grasses and decorative arrangements at my grandmother's place too. The orange calyx is actually the fruit of the plant. It is a member of the Nightshade family and a lot of those plants are poisonous. It grows all summer in dry woods and clearing areas and is a really showy plant.
With the Fall coming up, I wanted to paint them.
